A product system your team keeps — not a hire you gamble on.

Most product help sells you the ideal team. We install a system the one you have can actually run: judgment where you need it, hands where you don’t, yours to keep.

What we do.

Most product advice sells you the ideal end-state — the empowered team, the dedicated hire, the full reorg. We install the path instead, built for the team you have.

Lead offer

Fractional product leadership

Senior product leadership, embedded part-time: discovery, roadmap, and delivery. Whether you’re a founder still carrying product, a lean team buried in execution, or an operator with a process that should run itself. Interim or ongoing. Remote, 5–20 hours a week.

Every engagement starts with a two-week diagnostic.

The capabilities behind it
Operations

Product ops & AI workflows

The workflows that keep product decisions honest: insight ops, evidence bases, and agent-assisted automation with explicit rules for what runs alone and what waits for a human. Contained, bounded reasoning can run on its own; open-ended judgment stays supervised.

Direction

Product strategy

Platform strategy, positioning, and evidence-scored roadmaps. Strategy sprints that finish in weeks, not quarters — with the not-doing list written down.

Decisions

Data & decision systems

Dashboards and decision views over your real numbers — analytics people actually use, from the warehouse to the Monday meeting.

Foundations

Technology architecture

Data models, integrations, and infrastructure that hold up — and that modern, AI-assisted workflows can actually plug into.

Leverage

Automation

Repetitive work, removed. We were automating workflows before LLMs; agents raised the ceiling on what qualifies.

How we work

Understand first. Then build.

No package on day one. Every engagement starts with your users, your numbers, and your workflows. The recommendation comes from what we find, and sometimes that’s a smaller project than you expected. Either way you keep the diagnostic and the map.

01

Discover

Two weeks: interviews, metrics, and a walk through how work actually flows. What hurts, what repeats, what’s worth doing next. It doubles as a working session, so you see how we operate before committing to more.

You get a diagnostic: where you stand, the top gaps, and a priority-ordered plan.

02

Advise and build

Strategy where direction is the gap; hands-on building where execution is. Automations earn autonomy: they run supervised first and graduate only after passing tests against real behavior. Built for the team you have, no reorg required.

You get working systems on the tools you already use — and the reasoning behind every call.

03

Hand over

Documentation, owners, habits. Tune what works, retire what drifts. Most consultants create dependency. The point here is the opposite — the engagement ends when the system runs without us.

You get a system your team owns.

Why us

Twelve years in product. Michael led product at Storj, a distributed cloud platform: product ops, platform strategy, and an internal RAG tool that cut discovery from weeks to days. Before that, platform services inside BlackLine’s $200M+ ARR financial close suite, and ID.me as it scaled past 55M members.

Ocrah shipped client work in data systems, architecture, and automation before agents were the headline. kid.studio is the same method in production: one person, agents doing the execution, every decision tested against real behavior. We consult like operators because we are ones.
